Lucid Journaling: A writing ritual with Blue Lotus drops

Lucid Journaling: A writing ritual with Blue Lotus drops

How to journal for emotional wellbeing and mental health with Blue Lotus

TLDR: Light a candle, drop Lucid on your tongue (or make a mocktail), open your journal, pick up your pen in one hand, put your other hand over your heart and take a few deep breaths → write your heart out.

If you're anything like me, you're really good at being alright. At taking on every aspect of life one way or another. Despite being sensitive af to the wildness of the world, we're good at functioning, pushing through, being fine.

Journaling is where the "fine" falls apart... in the best way.

Lucid Journaling Practice: How to use blue lotus to connect with yourself while journaling

The ritual:

Step 1: Set the scene ~ put your phone away, dim the lights, maybe light a candle. If you want to play music, choose something with few lyrics or none at all. Something like Sol Rising, Petit Biscuit, or classical.

Step 2: Prep the altar ~ find a quiet and comfortable place to write, open your journal, and place your pen nearby.

Step 3: Drop in with Lucid ~ mix into a mocktail, add to a beverage, or drop it right on your tongue (my personal favorite).

Step 4: Breathe & begin ~ pick up your pen in one hand, place your other hand over your heart, take 4 deep breaths and begin writing.

What is blue lotus ~ and what does it do?

Blue lotus is a water lily found in Africa and South America. It is most famously associated with ancient Egypt. Native to the Nile river, this divine water lily has been revered since the time of the Pharaohs. Blue Lotus was a powerful symbol in Ancient Egypt. Due to its natural cycle of blooming at sunrise and closing at sunset, made it the symbol of the sun, creation, and rebirth. It was believed to provide spiritual connection and was associated with the god of healing and beauty. This ethereal bloom is cherished for its traditional use in promoting healthy relaxation and a sense of tranquility.

Our blue lotus blend, Lucid, was crafted fro calm, clarity, and connection.

How blue lotus helps with journaling

Blue Lotus has been used for thousands of years ~ ancient Egypt, Ayurvedic traditions, ceremonial practices across cultures — as a plant ally for relaxation, mental clarity, and gentle presence. It doesn't sedate you. It doesn't take you anywhere. It just... softens the edges; quiets the static.

Makes it easier to hear yourself. That's all journaling really needs: little less static so that you can tune in to your inner world.
